In today’s knowledge work, we must above all convince people of our ideas. This is a great challenge and does not always succeed equally well.
We all can convince with the right instrument
The good news is that we can all convince. The tips from the literature, however, are somewhat abstract. It is said that you can convince if you emphazise to the target group, have a clear intention and communicate this intention in a structured way so that the target group is convinced.
Since I was already spend a few hours presenting, I have transferred these success factors into a thought process (see below). This process can be used by everyone to present their own concerns more convincingly next time. I use these five steps myself and have created an A4 form for myself, which guides me to efficiently create an effective presentation.
